Developed for the track, built for the street. We prototyped this new lightweight billet aluminum primary cover for our 2022 Indian Chief road racer that won its first time on the track in the BRL Big Twin class. We needed more ground clearance on the primary side since it was the first part that makes contact with the ground when fully decked in left hand corners. We relocated the clutch actuator arm 180° from the bottom to the top to give even more lean angle and ensure the oil seal doesn’t kiss the asphalt. It features a separate, removeable clutch cover for simpler servicing of the clutch plates, as well as a separate front cover for easy access for rotating the crankshaft. O-ring seals on all covers and retains use of stock primary gasket. The stock clutch cable is used but gets relocated with the included cable bracket. Easy installation and huge gains in ground clearance and style.
