Changing the styling and ergonomics of the FTR1200 is nearly impossible with the large, stock, under-seat fuel tank and subframe. This fuel tank is the answer to opening up the platform to allow for custom bodywork, seats and shortened swingarms. Designed and developed on the race track with the RSD Superhooligan team race bikes. Top line of our fuel tank sits below the line of crash impact so, we were able to eliminate the use of a subframe, further reducing weight from the bike. We worked to maximize the fuel volume to keep enough gas in the tank for short street riding. A couple of simple modifications to your stock frame and stock fuel pump and you are off to the races.
