Bill Warner

"My friend Bill Warner, the fastest man on a motorcycle died yesterday doing what he loved. Bill was aiming for 300mph in one mile. Earlier in the day he ran 296mph just 4 miles shy of his goal. Bill was an amazing guy, humble, determined and he lived to go fast. I only knew him a short time, but we'd talked many times on the phone about land speed racing and what it took to go as fast as he was going. He was always willing to share his experience and vast knowledge. The motorcycle community lost a legend. Bill, you will be missed." -RS
