RSD Dyna

We finally got the opportunity to sink our teeth into HD’s best handling big bore Vtwin, the Dyna. The goal was to maintain the stock sheet metal and stance while improving the handling and acceleration using all the RSD parts we have available for the Dyna. A little extra fab and some paint and the Dyna Fighter was born. This project got us going on a slew of new ideas. Take a closer look and check out the license plate bracket/ tail light, chain guard, engine covers, fork brace, tank belt and gauge relocation. Possibly coming to a shop near you.

Showin off her tank here with our tracker gas cap and dummy cap.

Tossed on the Black-Ops air cleaner, forks, prototype speedometer and seat today. Wheels and leather work next!

The matte gray and gloss black paint is back from Chris Wood at Airtrix and looks killer, as usual. We spent most of a day making this custom stainless steel 2-into-1 pipe from a combination of U-bends, megaphones and a header from V&H that we modified.

All you Dyna guys asked for it. RSD is finally building a Dyna! PM was cleaning out some of their bike inventory so we got dibs on this 06 Dyna Street Bob. We’ve been prototyping some custom parts for the Dyna family on this build and hope to bring some of it to market in the near future.

From this point on our mission with this bike is to turn it into a rideable machine as well as a head turner while sitting curbside. We’ll throw on tall reservoir shocks, big brakes and clip-ons for an aggressive riding position. Keep your eyes on this build.
