Roland Sands Design (RSD) is back at it, and this time, we’re unleashing something that’ll shake up the streets—meet "The Vandal." This latest build is a bold collaboration between RSD and CFMOTO, and it’s based on the newly launched Ibex 450. If you’re familiar with the Roland Sands approach, you know we’re all about pushing boundaries. The Vandal is no exception.
Aimed at showcasing the on-road power of CFMOTO’s Ibex 450, this custom bike brings a unique blend of racing performance and street style. Roland Sands himself describes it as a "mini super hooligan supermoto mix"—perfect for riders who want to tear up the streets and have a little fun doing it. Using mostly stock CFMOTO parts with a few performance add-ons, the Vandal is designed to be accessible, whether you’re a pro or an at-home customizer.
Roland Sands summed it up best: “The Ibex 450 is a punk rock bike with high-end components and versatility for both off-road and on-road riding.” It’s got that classic RSD spirit—pushing the limits of design and performance, but staying real and affordable for the next generation of riders. Powered by CFMOTO’s 450 twin engine, the bike is a high-revving, lightweight machine built to bring fresh blood into the road-racing scene.
The Vandal is going to make its grand debut at the 2024 Moto Beach Classic, held at Bolsa Chica State Beach, California. Expect to see it tear up the track during the Moto Beach Gymkhana race, where competitors will take on tight turns, low-speed obstacles, and all the adrenaline-pumping challenges that only a hooligan race can deliver. If you’re in it to win it, you might just take home a 2024 CFMOTO Papio SS motorcycle.
At RSD, we’re stoked about this partnership with CFMOTO. Their innovation and our design vision have meshed perfectly. It’s not just about building a bike—it’s about driving the future of riding, racing, and moto culture. The Vandal is a testament to that vision: fast, fun, and rebellious. You can bet it’ll leave a mark. Keep your eyes peeled at the Moto Beach Classic, because The Vandal’s coming in hot.
