The Hooligans take on the Corkscrew.
The Mission Super Hooligan National Championship rolled into WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca for a double-header weekend in Monterey, and the paddock delivered exactly what you’d expect from the Hooligans: big bikes, high bars, elbows out, and no shortage of drama through one of the most iconic tracks in American racing.
From the drop into the Corkscrew to the charge down into Turn 11, Laguna brought out the best of the grid and tightened up the championship fight in a big way.

“What a race, man. That was crazy… It’s awesome to do it at my home race. I’m just super excited.”
— Bryce Kornbau, BPR Racing Yamaha on his win for race 1
Race 1: Kornbau Strikes First
Race 1 kicked off with a pack of naked bikes charging three and four wide into the opening corners. Andy DiBrino got the early jump on his BPR Racing Yamaha, with James Rispoli, Bryce Kornbau, Corey Alexander, and Gus Rodio all in the fight behind him.
Rispoli made an early move for the lead, but the battle changed when he ran wide near the Corkscrew, then later went down in Turn 11. He was able to remount and finish, but the incident split the lead group and opened the door for the two BPR Yamahas to break away up front.
From there, it was Kornbau versus DiBrino. Kornbau made his move in the second half of the race and held off his teammate all the way to the line, taking the win by just 0.103 seconds.
Behind them, Corey Alexander kept the ARCH Motorcycle Racing machine in the fight and brought home a strong third-place finish, continuing his podium streak and keeping ARCH right in the middle of the Super Hooligan spotlight.

Motul keeps the Super Hooligan paddock running at full send, delivering the high-performance oils, lubricants, and maintenance products teams rely on when race weekends get hot, fast, and unforgiving.
Big thanks to Motul for supporting the series and helping keep the bikes sharp, reliable, and ready to battle every time they hit the track.
Race 2: DiBrino Answers Back
Sunday’s Race 2 flipped the script, but only slightly.
DiBrino launched hard again and this time refused to give up the lead. Kornbau stayed glued to his back wheel, showing a front tire and looking for a way through, but DiBrino kept his lines tight and managed the race from the front.
Kornbau threw down the fastest lap of the race, but DiBrino had the answer where it counted. After eight laps, the top three crossed the line covered by less than a second, with DiBrino taking the win by 0.119 seconds.
Alexander was right there again, finishing third and putting ARCH Motorcycle Racing on the podium for the second time on the weekend. James Rispoli bounced back from Saturday’s crash with a fourth-place finish, while Gus Rodio rounded out the top five.

What Makes Super Hooligan Racing Different
The Mission Super Hooligan class has quickly become one of MotoAmerica’s most exciting categories thanks to its unique mix of machinery and riding style.
- 750cc+ twin-cylinder machines
- Naked sportbikes and performance streetfighters
- Minimal bodywork and aggressive riding positions
- Big horsepower with minimal electronic intervention
- Bar-to-bar racing and constant drafting battles
The result is a class that feels raw, unpredictable, and incredibly fun to watch.
What’s Next for the Championship
Championship Fight Gets Tight
Laguna Seca did more than deliver two close races. It reshuffled the championship fight.
With a 2-1 weekend, Andy DiBrino leaves Monterey as the Mission Super Hooligan points leader with 123 points. Bryce Kornbau sits just five points back with 118, and Gus Rodio is only one point behind him with 117. That means the top three are separated by just six points heading into the next round.
James Rispoli remains in the hunt with 104 points, while Corey Alexander’s run of podiums has pushed him up to fifth with 86 points, keeping ARCH Motorcycle Racing firmly in the conversation as the second half of the season approaches.
Big Bikes, Big Weekend
Laguna Seca is the kind of place that exposes everything. The fast stuff, the brave stuff, the mistakes, the saves, and the riders who can keep it together when the pressure is on.
This weekend had all of it.
Kornbau got his first win of the season. DiBrino took over the championship lead. Alexander put ARCH on the box twice. Rispoli fought back. Rodio stayed right in the title chase. And the Super Hooligan grid gave the Monterey crowd one of the best shows of the weekend.
Next up, the Hooligans head to Mid-Ohio with the championship wide open and the top three separated by almost nothing.
The circus rolls on.
Bell Helmets continue to play a critical role in protecting Super Hooligan riders like #62 Andy DiBrino, where every race means high-speed battles, hard braking zones, and the constant risk that comes with pushing big bikes to the limit.

CPI Stem Cells – Healing the Riders
Super Hooligan racing is fast, aggressive, and hard on the body. Between the crashes, training, and constant travel, riders put themselves through a lot during a race season—which is why recovery matters just as much as performance.
Based just outside San Diego in Tijuana, Mexico, CPI has built a reputation as one of the leading stem cell treatment facilities in the world, helping athletes and patients recover from injuries and get back to doing what they love.
As Roland puts it:
“I want to give a shout out to one of our new sponsors, CPI Stem Cells. These guys are the number one stem cell facility really in the world… This is where the healing gets done.
All of us road racers and motorcycle riders get a little injured sometimes. When it comes down to healing, CPI really knocks it out of the park getting you back to where you need to be. I feel about ten years younger after my treatment.”
CPI-Stem-Cells
From racers to riders to everyday athletes, CPI focuses on helping people recover faster and return stronger—something every motorcycle racer can appreciate after a long weekend at the track.
