Chromoly 3" Under Flat Track Swingarm for Indian FTR 1200

A short wheelbase makes all the difference. We developed these on our FTR1200 race bikes in the Superhooligan series and they have been the most important improvement. Purpose-built flat track race bikes have a wheelbase in the range of 55-57” to help them get turned quickly and maximize traction. Custom race bikes also have engineered flex in the chassis and swingarm to keep the tire hooked up. The stock FTR1200 was built for the street and comes off the production line with a 60” wheelbase and a super stiff and heavy swingarm. We worked with CandJ Racing Frames to develop these shortened, lightweight chromoly steel race swingarm that is a full 3” shorter than stock and uses thin-wall chromoly material for increased flex. The shortened length brings the wheelbase to 57” and changes the shock pivot ratio to more proper flat track geometry. The axle slot was also lengthened to a full 3”, allowing more fine-tuning of the wheelbase and less axle adjustments between sprocket changes. Comes complete with OEM pivot bearings and seals, custom chromoly axle, shock bolt, internal axle adjusters and mounts for rear stand spools. Match this swingarm with our race fuel tank for seamless mounting, clearance and performance.
