Lewis 74 Vest

This is my 3rd piece of riding gear from RSD (1 Jacket and 2 vests), and like all RSD apparel this vest is excellent quality. Materials and construction are top notch, and I like that you can insert protection if you chose, unlike many other more fashion focussed brands. You can tell this product is designed by riders for riders. Only disappointment for me was the lack of waist adjustment as my other 2 RSD items did have this feature, and if you aren not running the vest over a jacket, the waist adjustment helps to stop wind creeping up from your waist. Because of this I will only be using this vest for layering on top of my riding jacket, instead of just using it on top of lighter garments as well.

Love the leather, had to buy a smaller size cause fits big. If you are a medium get a size down, get the small.

Great product quality as with all sands gear and fits perfectly to size (L).

I’ve had the Honcho jacket for 10 years and love it. It figured it was time to step up to a leather vest. I’m 5’9 and 190 so I went with a Large. It seems a tad big but it works with my flannels and hoodies and as it breaks in should be perfect. I like the vest and the style plenty of pockets inside and out. If I had one critique it would be that I does not have a double zipper. I’d like to open up the bottom of when sitting down. Other than that I love the jacket and it’s worth the $$.

Having had a few other brands of leather vests, I have to say that the Roland Sands Lewis 74 vest is the best you can buy at this price point!!! Made if real high quality leather, you will not find a better feeling or fitting vest for less than $400!! I highly recommend this vest!
